Police beat: Attendant allegedly attacks driver

A 42-year-old parking lot attendant was arrested yesterday after she allegedly reached into a car and grabbed a 37-year-old woman by the throat after the younger woman refused to pay a parking fee.

Police said the younger woman told them she pulled into a Honolulu parking garage to turn around and told the attendant she felt she should not be made to pay a fee.

Police returned to the garage with the younger woman who identified the parking attendant, who was arrested for suspicion of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.


Man allegedly threatens wife

A 42-year-old Wahi'awa man was arrested yesterday in connection with an Oct. 19 incident in which his wife, 39, reported receiving a telephone call from her estranged husband in which he threatened her numerous times.

Police said the man was arrested initially on a warrant charging him with violating a restraining order. He was also arrested for suspicion of terroristic threatening.


Child, 3, says she was sexually assaulted

Police are investigating a case in which a 3-year-old Salt Lake girl told a caregiver she had been sexually assaulted several times between Sept.1 and Oct. 5.

A family member is a suspect in the case, police said.
