Advertiser Staff
Honolulu Fire Department rescue personnel arrived around 1 p.m. after the man's boating companion swam to shore wearing an inflatable life vest and called for help, said HFD Capt. Kenison Tejada.
The men, both in their 50s, were separated about a quarter-mile from shore after their boat overturned. HFD's Air One helicopter was able to find the unresponsive man and bring him ashore.
