Feldmann, Stubblefield gain semifinals

Three-time defending champions Andrew Feldmann and Larry Stubblefield advanced to the semifinals of the Aloha Section PGA's E-Z-Go 4-Ball Match Play Championship yesterday at the Oahu Country Club course.

Feldmann and Stubblefield, who drew a first-round bye, ousted Eddie Lee and Paul Ito, 3 and 2, in the second round. They will meet Joey Castillo and Ron Castillo Jr. today at 7 a.m.

David Ishii and David Chin, who eliminated qualifying medallists Mike Iyoki and Ron Kiaaina, 4 and 3, in the second round, will meet Kevin Carll and Kirk Nelson in today's other semifinal starting at 7:10.
