Tomorrow, both will undergo magnetic resonance imaging a procedure in which magnetic fields are used to create an image of the body's interior on their right knees, but UH coach June Jones said he expects them to miss the rest of the season.
Peters, a senior and captain, is considered to be the Warriors' best defensive player. He said he was injured when a player landed on his right knee in the fourth quarter.
Ferguson, a sophomore, is a double-threat as the starting right slotback and returner on kickoffs and punts. He said he was hurt on the opening kickoff.
