GiRL FeST Hawaii is back for a second year, and it’s time to celebrate with an opening party tonight at thirtyninehotel and Next Door (39 and 43 N. Hotel St.).

Grammy-nominated hip-hop singer Mystic, DJ Bonds, Jennifer Johns and local band X-Factor will perform. Also featuring slam poets Ishle Park and Mush; The Giinko Marischino Dance Collective, the Hawaii Radical Cheerleaders, DJs Zita, Toki, Dawn and Missy and Mr. Nick.
Admission is $15 at the door; $10 advance. It’s for those 21 and older. www.girlfesthawaii.org.
