No. 6 Trojans beat Chargers

Kekoa Perbera ran for a pair of touchdowns and threw another as sixth-ranked Mililani trounced Pearl City, 34-6, last night at the Trojans' field.

Perbera's lone pass attempt went for a 44-yard score to Michael Smith. Perbera, who scored on runs of 9 and 42 yards, also rushed for 124 yards on eight carries and caught two passes for 48 yards.

Jordan Torres scored on a 3-yard run and Jordan Apduhan on a 1-yard run for the Trojans, who improved to 3-0 in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red West Division.

Andrew Blue scored on a 1-yard run for Pearl City (0-3), which led 6-0 in the first quarter.

Henry Keomalu threw two touchdown passes, ran for another score, and kicked a 21-yard field goal and two PATs to lead the No. 8 Seariders over host Na Ali'i in an OIA Red West game.

Keomalu's scoring passes went to Leroy Lee-Kiaaina for 51 yards and Douglas Newman for 28. Keomalu, who completed 9 of 14 passes for 176 yards, also ran for a 1-yard touchdown.

Kali Kuia passed 4 yards to Lahaina Olsen-Kuroda in the fourth quarter to help 'Aiea avoid a shutout.
