A brigadier general and former commanding officer, U.S. Army Reserve Training Center, Infantry, Fort DeRussy; IX Corps headquarters, assistant chief of staff for operations and training, and chief of staff and commander; and after retirement, U.S. Army, Western Command, Fort Shafter, assistant deputy chief of staff for operations and plans; also recipient of Distinguished Service Medal, Bronze Star, and others.
