Bruce Shimabukuro tunes up

Bruce Shimabukuro is the younger brother of Jake, and a skilled if not as immediately well-known 'ukulele player and composer in his own right.

Now that we have those formalities out of the way, we'll tell you that Bruce (and his BS Band) will celebrate the release of his debut CD "Incognito" at the Sheraton Waikiki's Esprit Lounge tonight. Bruce and band will perform along with older bro Jake and Eric Lee from Na Kama from 7 to 9 p.m.

The performance is free and open to guests 21 and older. 922-4422.
