Leeward residents asked to conserve water

Advertiser Staff

Leeward Coast residents are being asked to conserve water through tomorrow while the Board of Water Supply repairs a leak in a 24-inch water main.

The water main is the main source of water for residents from Nanakuli to Makaha.

The reservoirs have been filled to capacity in preparation for the repairs, but the Board of Water Supply still asks residents to use water sparingly and hold off on any water-using activities except for drinking, cooking and personal hygiene.
