Advertiser Staff

Construction begins tomorrow to resurface Farrington Highway through Waipahu Town, according to state Department of Transportation plans.

The $5 million project will repave a 3.3 mile stretch of Farrington Highway, between Old Fort Weaver Road and Leoku Street. Highway lane closures for tomorrow and Friday include: the eastbound lane, from Old Fort Weaver Road to Leoku Street, between 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the westbound lane, from Leoku Street to Old Fort Weaver Road, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The closures are needed for erosion control work, according to a Department of Transportation news release.
