Three officers indicted for ties to cockfights, gaming

Three Honolulu police officers were indicted by a federal grand jury today for their alleged roles in helping protect and facilitate illegal cockfights, card games and dice games on O'ahu's North Shore.

The officers indicted are:

• Bryson Apo, an eight-year veteran of the department and a member of Honolulu Police Department's District four Crime Reduction Unit.

• Kevin Brunn, a 21-year veteran of the department and a sergeant assigned to District two.

• Glenn Miram, a seven-year veteran of the department who was assigned to the Narcotics/Vice detail.
