Hawaii sweeps UC San Diego in volleyball

The University of Hawai`i Warrior volleyball team swept UC San Diego Saturday night, 30-20, 30-25, 30-18, in front of 3,534 at the Stan Sheriff Center.Matt Carere and Lauri Hakala led the Warriors with 13 and 12 kills, respectively.
Hawaii improved to 21-4 overall and 17-3 in the MPSF. UC San Diego fell to 1-26 and 0-20.
