A lot of folks, especially artsy folks, know about the monthly gallery walk called First Friday. Did you miss it last night? Not to worry: There's the still-young Second Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today that also showcases the arts district.

Among the attractions:

  • Earth Day arts activities, with an emphasis on recycling, for youngsters at the Hawai'i State Art Museum.

  • Chinese fortune-telling at the Louis Pohl Gallery.

  • The annual show of the Hawaii Watercolor Society at The ARTS at Marks Garage.

  • The Windward Artists Guild's juried spring show at The Exhibit Space, 1132 Bishop St.

  • The jazzy artwork of John Nichols at rRed Elephant.

And there's an open house at Washington Place from noon to 1 p.m. The Royal Hawaiian Band will perform from 1 to 2 p.m. with featured vocalist Nalani Olds.

There's more, too. Admission to all events and galleries is free. www.louispohlgallery.com/second-saturday.html.
