Get a glimpse of Honolulu's future art scene at "Cross Perspectives," Kapi'olani Community College's annual Student Art Show, opening at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Koa Gallery on campus.

Aspiring painters, photographers, jewelry designers, sculptors, ceramists and conceptual idea wranglers will display what they've been working on the past two terms.

Toiling under the guidance of instructors such as painter Stephen Niles and ceramist/photographer Cory Lum, KCC students promise some insightful work.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, through May 3.
