Big Island trails and campground reopen

The Department of Land and Natural Resource has reopened the Muliwai Trail, Ainapo Trail and Waimanu Valley Campground on the Big Island, after a month of it being closed by bad weather.Permits will again be issued for Waimanu Valley campground sites by the Division of Forestry and Wildlife Hilo district office.
