Advertiser Staff

The Kahala Mall Radio Shack store reopened on Sunday, making it one of the last stores to reopen following the March 31 flood that closed the mall for three days, the mall managers said in a news release. Most merchants reopened on April 4.

Gary Hashimoto, Store Manager at Radio Shack, said their store required some extra work to get it running again.

All Kahala Mall stores and restaurants are open now, with the exception of Borders Express, Watch Station, and Kahala 8-Plex Theaters, the mall managers said.

Customers wishing to participate can buy the coffee for $11.95 a bag at a Bad Ass Coffee store or online at www.badasscoffee.com/cupojoe. The Bad Ass Coffee Company was founded in Kona in 1989. It was sold in 1995 and its headquarters were moved to Salt Lake City.
