Sunny and mild forecast for Easter weekend
Advertiser Staff
The strong trade winds blowing through the islands are expected to slowly drop off by tomorrow, making way for a mostly sunny and mild Easter weekend, said Bob Burke, lead forecaster for the National Weather Service in Honolulu."It'll be warm with most of the clouds and showers confined to the Windward and Mauka areas through the weekend," Burke said. "The trade winds are strong enough that they may bring some light showers, but very brief."
The trade winds are gusting up to 30 mph in some areas on O'ahu and the Big Island, Burke said.
