Iolani tops Punahou in girls' basketball

Iolani sophomore Jamie Smith scored a team-high nine points as the Raiders improved to 4-0. Punahou dropped to 4-1.
Iolani made 12 of 16 free throws, including 6 of 8 with less than two minutes left to seal its win.
The visiting Raiders took advantage of an off shooting day by Punahou, which made 9 of 41 shots. Shawna-Lei Kuehu scored a game-high 11 points for the Buffanblu.
