Warriors to face UCLA in MPSF volleyball playoffs

The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will face UCLA in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation playoffs Saturday at Stan Sheriff Center.UCLA defeated UC Santa Barbara on Wednesday in the play-in match in Los Angeles, 28-30, 31-29, 30-23, 30-15.
Second-ranked UH (23-4) has won 2 of 3 matches against No. 7 UCLA (21-12) this season. The Warriors have won 19 in a row. UCLA has won nine in a row. Saturday's winner advances to the MPSF semifinals in Irvine, Calif., next week.
Tickets are on sale for Saturday's MPSF match, which starts at 7 p.m. Fans may purchase tickets at all UH ticket outlets, on the Web site (HawaiiAthletics.com), or over the telephone at 944-BOWS (2697).
