Part of H-3 to temporarily close Saturday night

The H-3 freeway will be closed in the Kane'ohe-bound direction between the Halawa interchange and the Halekou interchange from 7 p.m. tomorrow to 7 a.m. Sunday morning, the state Department of Transportation said.The closure is for tunnel cleaning and routine maintenance.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow for extra travel time during the closure.
Also, the Wilson Tunnel on the Likelike Highway will be closed in the Honolulu-bound direction from 8 p.m. tonight to 4 a.m. tomorrow for median barrier work.
