'Typical' weather returns to Islands for weekend
Advertiser Staff
Weather around the islands continues its return to normalcy.Following the record-setting rainy month of March, today's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with isolated tradewind showers in windward and mauka areas, said Jeff Powell, lead forecaster for the National Weather Service Honolulu.
Tradewinds are blowing 10 to 15 mph.
"It's more of the same this weekend," Powell said. "Highs in the low 80s, lows in the low 70s. Typical tradewinds."
