Theatre for Youth puppets stolen

Thieves broke into a Honolulu Theatre for Youth vehicle on Friday, stealing handcrafted puppets and quilted backdrops intended for the Theatre production of Tales of Old Hawai'i. The group seeks their return. Call 839-9885 or drop the items off at Tenney Theatre on the grounds of St. Andrew's Cathedral, no questions asked. Meanwhile, staff members are working to construct new sets and props so that the play can run as scheduled.
