East, north shores getting 4- to 7-foot swells

A small to moderate swell is bringing surf 4 to 6 to the east-facing shores and 4 to 7 feet to the north-facing shores through tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service surf forecast.Surf along west- and south-facing shores is 2 to 4 feet today, with south-facing surf expected to increase to 3 to 5 feet tomorrow.
The extended surf forecast through Sunday calls for a small- to moderate-sized north northwest swell to continue through Wednesday. A new south swell is also expected to continue through Wednesday.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face or front of waves.
