Police said the six boys, who ranged in age from 12 to 14, reported being robbed during four separate incidents beginning at about 1:30 p.m.

All of the victims told police they were walking home from school when the two suspects confronted them and demanded their money.

The 19-year-old suspect allegedly punched one of the victims after accosting him, police said.

Police were notified, located the two suspects and arrested them on suspicion of six counts each of second-degree robbery.

A 43-year-old man was arrested in Waikiki yesterday after he allegedly shoplifted two items valued at more than $300.

A uniformed police officer patrolling the area saw the man running from the store, chased him down and arrested him on suspicion of second-degree theft.

Items from the store were recovered, police said.

Alleged threat with knife leads to arrest

A 45-year-old man was arrested in Waikiki early yesterday morning after he allegedly threatened an acquaintance with a knife.

Police said a 47-year-old man walked up to the suspect, who was sitting on a wall, about 2:45 a.m. The two men then traded insults before the man seated on the wall tried to punch the other man but missed, police said.

They said the man who threw the punch then stood up, pulled out a knife, held it at waist level and threatened to harm the other man, who ran away.

Police were called, the suspect was identified and was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.
