Souza named AD at Kamehameha

Kanani Souza has been named head athletic director at Kamehameha Schools, high school principal Julian Ako announced in a press release today.Souza, who was the school's associate AD and head varsity football coach, will guide the football program through the 2006 season, then relinquish that responsibility. He led the Warriors to the state high school championship in 2004.
Souza, along with co-athletic directors Erv Kau and Blane Gaison, will oversee an athletic program that currently fields 117 teams in 22 girls and 22 boys sports.
