Surf expected to hit 10 feet on north shores

Surf along north-facing shores is expected to hit six to 10 feet tomorrow, the latest National Weather Service surf report said.

Currently, north-facing shores are seeing surf in the 2 to 4 foot range, which is expect to rise to 4 to 6 feet tonight.

Surf along south-facing shores is 3 to 5 feet this afternoon, lowering to 2 to 4 feet tonight and tomorrow.

Surf along west facing shores is 1 to 2 feet today increasing to 3 to 5 feet tomorrow.

East facing shores will be getting surf 2 to 4 feet through tomorrow.

The weather service's extended forecast calls for a south swell to bring 8-foot surf to southern shores Wednesday.

Surf heights are forecast heights of the face or front of waves.
