TASTE OF THE STARS

The 6th annual Taste of the Stars is a foodie's dream come true. More than 20 Island chefs will cook up their tasting samples, accompanied by wine and champagne, a martini bar and specialty teas and coffee. There's entertainment, too, and a silent auction — all to benefit the Leeward Community College Culinary Arts program.

Among the chefs who will participate: Alan Wong, Darryl Fujita, DK Kodama, Elmer Guzman, Goran Streng, Hiroshi Fukui, Roy Yamaguchi and Russell Siu.

The event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. May 6 at LCC. Tickets are $100 general grazing; $170 individual seating; $1,600 reserved seating for a table of 10. 455-0215.
