MUST RECYCLE ... those nasty, smelly worn-out running shoes! And tomorrow's Nike Reuse-a-Shoe Community Shoe Recycling Day is the perfect opportunity.

The event — from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Niketown, 2080 Kalakaua Ave. in Waikiki — features a DJ, games and prizes, entertainment, exhibits, free foot massages and free Jamba Juice drinks, as schools and the general public drop off their recyclable shoes.

And if you're feeling creative, you can enter the Creative Recycled Kicks contest: Turn old athletic shoes, with laces, into works of art and bring them in from 9 to 11 a.m. for judging. Kids and adults can enter three categories — most creative, most Earth-friendly, best overall shoe re-use.
