The Rainbows improved to 32-12 overall and 10-6 in the WAC, while the Hornets dropped to 10-27 and 8-10.

Harrington (5-3) allowed two runs, one earned, six hits with no walks and three strikeouts. Avila's three-run home run in the third snapped a 1-all tie.
