UH-Alabama kickoff time set

The University of Alabama announced its football season opener with the University of Hawai'i Sept. 2 will have a 1:07 p.m., Hawai'i time, kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium.The game time had been up in the air while the Southeastern Conference's television partners chose which games they would show. One option that had been looked at called for a 6:30 a.m. Hawai'i time kickoff.
The game will be shown in Hawai'i on pay-per-view by K5 and Oceanic Time Warner Cable twice on Sept. 2 and free on Sept. 3.
