Paliku Theatre auditions for the Oct. 13-Nov. 12 production of the musical "Oklahoma!," 7 p.m. tomorrow-Wednesday, at the theater, Windward Community College. Those who audition must be at least age 16 for the adult roles, will sing a memorized song (bring the sheet music for the provided accompanist; no karaoke or a cappella) and will audition for some movement work and reading from the script. 235-7330.

Aloha Performing Arts Company (Big Island) auditions for the Oct. 6-22 production of the musical comedy "Honk, Jr." 6:30 p.m. Aug. 21-22 at APAC's loft in Kainaliu, Big Island. All parts are for boys and girls, 18 and younger, who must have a parent's or guardian's written permission to audition. Auditions will consist of movement, singing and reading from the script. Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus auditions for boys and girls (grades K-12) to participate in training, performance and touring opportunities in their choral ensembles, Aug. 19 and 26, UH-Manoa Music Department. 55th Cherry Blossom Festival of Honolulu seeks applications for Cherry Blossom Queen from women, ages 19-26, who are of at least 50 percent Japanese ancestry, a U.S. citizen and Hawai'i resident. 2007 Miss East Oahu and Miss Kahala contestants being sought for the Sept. 23 pageant at Windward Community College.
