Service for crash victim Thursday

Services for a 16-year-old Kapolei High School student who died in a traffic accident July 25 will be held Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.

Leslie C. Kim was a passenger in a car that ran off the dead end of Franklin Roosevelt Avenue in Kalaeloa and flew over a canal before slamming into an embankment. Kim, along with 18-year-old Tanya House, were killed in the crash.

Kim is survived by his parents, Lester and So Nan; brother, Ronald; paternal grandmother, Yoko Kim; and maternal grandmother, Tae Cho Yang.

Visitation is from 5 p.m.; memorial service at 6 p.m. The family requests casual attire.
