Pearl City teams 3-0

Rory Nakayama batted 4 for 5 and drove in five runs as Pearl City rallied past Arizona, 16-7, yesterday at the Little League Senior Division (ages 14-16) Western Regional in Salem, Ore.

Ryno Acosta, who relieved in the top of the first inning when Arizona scored four runs, earned the victory and added three hits and three RBIs. Bully Casarez also had three hits and three RBIs.

Pearl City (3-0) plays Alaska today.

Elsewhere, Keanu Sato pitched a two-hitter with four strikeouts as Pearl City defeated Idaho, 4-0, yesterday at the Little League Junior Division (ages 13-14) Western Regional in Beaverton, Ore.

Kala Neal batted 3 for 4 and drove in two runs, and A.J. Johnson had two hits and an RBI for Pearl City.

Pearl City (3-0) plays Alaska today.
