Makaha Bridge #3 closed for railing, sidewalk work

Crews are out in force on the streets, roads and highways of O'ahu, working on repairs and improvements. Be prepared for traffic delays in these areas.

Work on Makaha Bridge #3

The Makaha Bridge #3 along Farrington Highway near Kili Drive will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. through Friday for bridge railing and sidewalk repair. Traffic will be detoured through Makaha Valley Road, then onto Kili Drive, and back on to Farrington Highway.

H-2 Freeway night work

Lane closures in the northbound direction along the H-2 Freeway between the H-1 Freeway and Wahiawa between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. through Friday for pavement repair.

Night work on H-3, Kane'ohe bound

Lane closures are scheduled in the Kane'ohe-bound direction along the H-3 Freeway between the Halekou Interchange and H-3 tunnels between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. through Friday for pavement repair.

Lanes closed on Pali

Lane closures along Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Castle Medical Center and School Street between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for pavement marking and striping.

Bridge repair on Nimitz

There will be a complete closure in the Honolulu-bound direction along Nimitz Highway at the Kalihi Stream Bridge between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. through Friday morning for bridge repair. Traffic off the H-1 Freeway Airport Viaduct eastbound will be diverted to the Middle Street/Dillingham Boulevard exit (Exit 18B). Traffic along Nimitz Highway under the H-1 Freeway Airport Viaduct will also be diverted to Dillingham Boulevard. A special-duty officer will be on-site to direct traffic. All westbound lanes along Nimitz Highway will remain open.

Lanes to be closed on Pu'uloa Road

Both shoulder lanes along Pu'uloa Road from Kamehameha Highway to Salt Lake Boulevard will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for utility work. Also lanes will be closed in both directions along Pu'uloa Road between Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for utility work. Lanes may be closed along Pu'uloa Road at the Salt Lake Boulevard and Pukoloa Street intersection between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for utility work.

Farrington lanes closed

Lanes will be closed along Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Kahualii and Paiwa streets between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for shoulder lane and drainage work.

Striping work on Kunia Road

Lanes may be closed in the northbound direction along Kunia Road between the H-1 Freeway and Wilikina Drive between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for pavement striping.

Work scheduled near Crouching Lion

Lanes will be closed along Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn through Friday for roadwork. One lane of traffic in either direction will be closed and contra-flowed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Lanes closed on 'Aiea Access Road

The right southbound lane along 'Aiea Access Road from Moanalua Road to Kamehameha Highway will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for barrier and electrical work. Possible shoulder lane closures may occur along the southeast on-ramp (eastbound) from Kamehameha Highway to the Moanalua Freeway. Lanes may be closed in both directions along Moanalua Freeway, in the vicinity of the 'Aiea Access Road overpass between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for roadwork. Also lanes may be closed along Kamehameha Highway in both directions between McGrew Point and Salt Lake Boulevard between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for guardrail work.

Work set near Camp Smith

Lanes may be closed along Halawa Heights Road near Camp Smith between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for roadwork. Lanes may be closed along Halawa Heights Road between Ulune Street and Fernridge Place, in the vicinity of Camp Smith between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday for pavement marking and sign installation.
