Advertiser Staff

The Waipi'o Little League team will play Arizona tomorrow in a semifinal of the West Regional in San Bernardino, Calif.

The pairings were determined after results of today's games that did not involve Waipi'o, which completed pool play yesterday.

The winner will advance to Saturday's championship.

The winner of the West Regional will advance to Williamsport, Pa., for the World series for 11- and 12-year-olds.

In the opening game of the tournament last Friday, Arizona beat Hawai'i, 1-0.

Pearl City Juniors

Another youth baseball team, Pearl City, also will play in a semifinal tomorrow.

Pearl City is in the Little League Juniors for 13- to 14-year-olds.

Should Pearl City win, it will play for the title later tomorrow.

In its semifinal, Pearl City will play the winner of the Nevada-Southern California game that was played earlier today.

The winner of the West Regional will advance to the World Series in Taylor, Mich.
