Schofield soldier killed while training for live-fire drill

A Schofield Barracks soldier was killed this morning during training for live-fire exercises at a Schofield range, the Army said.The soldier's name is being withheld pending notification of family members, the Army said in a brief statement.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
