Surf to remain low through week

Advertiser Staff

No significant swells are expected through Friday, the National Weather Service reports. Expect 1- to 3-foot waves faces along east shores today and tomorrow, and 2 foot or smaller waves on west shores through tomorrow.

North shores will continue to have 1-foot waves today as will the south shores.

However, south shores could see wave faces increasing tomorrow to from 2 to 3 feet, the NWS said.

Beaches should remain warm and pleasant under partly cloudy skies.

Water temperatures will be in the mid-70 degree range.
