Sunset on the Beach takes up residence at Ma'ili Beach Park on the Wai'anae Coast this weekend for two full days and nights of entertainment, food, a health expo, crafters and vendors, a children's play center and much more than we can fit into one paragraph.

There's a fireworks display tomorrow night, too.

Of course, there are movies: Tonight there's a double-header of an episode from the TV series "Beyond the Break," which is filmed on the Wai'anae Coast; and the comedy "The Shaggy Dog," starring Tim Allen. Tomorrow's feature is "Eight Below," the drama about sled dogs who must fend for themselves after they are left behind in a storm in Antarctica.

Hours are from noon to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow. The films hit the screen after the sun goes down, about 7:15 p.m. Admission is free.
