Good seats may pop up for U2 show

By Derek Paiva
Advertiser Entertainment Writer

Here's an update on ticket availability for U2's Dec. 9 concert at Aloha Stadium: You can still get a seat for the show, which also will feature Pearl Jam. Refunded tickets for the postponed April 8 concert went on sale a week ago but have yet to sell out.

Here's what we know about ticket availability:

Q. What kind of tickets are available?

A. There were no general-admission field spots available when we checked on Thursday. The best available reserved seats for two were $95 tickets in Section DD, row 11. The best single reserved seat was a $165 ticket in Section D, row 14.

Q. Can I still get a refund for my April 8 tickets?

A. A Ticketmaster customer-service representative we spoke with Thursday said there wasn't a deadline for returning tickets for the postponed April 8 show for a refund. Obviously, the sooner you return them, though, the better.

Q. Should I keep checking Ticketmaster for good tickets?

A. If you need tickets, it can't hurt. Check Ticketmaster on the Web and online before going to the multitude of online ticket resale sites such as StubHub.com and CheapPriced Tickets.com. Reach Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or (877) 750-4400.

Keep the faith — and the high-speed Internet connection — and you might still get tickets for spots close enough to scare Bono and Eddie Vedder come December.
