Boy nearly drowns in Kewalo Basin

A 10-year-old boy is in serious condition this afternoon at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children after nearly drowning while on a catamaran operating out of Kewalo Basin.

Paramedics responded to the 12:50 p.m. call at Kewalo Basin but officials had no details about what caused the accident.
