Calling all 'ukulele players! Duke's Waikiki is seeking contestants for its inaugural Duke's Ukes Contest, happening Sept. 9.

Auditions will be held from noon to 2 p.m. today at Duke's, Outrigger Waikiki Hotel, 2335 Kalakaua Ave. The contest includes four age categories:

Elementary (kindergarten through sixth grade)

Intermediate (grades 7-9)

High school (grades 10-12)

Open (any nonprofessional)
