Aloha Performing Arts Company (Big Island) auditions for the Oct. 6-22 production of the musical comedy "Honk, Jr." 6:30 p.m. Monday-Tuesday at APAC's loft in Kainaliu, Big Island. All parts are for boys and girls, 18 and younger, who must have a parent's or guardian's written permission to audition. Auditions will consist of movement, singing and reading from the script. Hawaii Opera Theatre to audition men and women for the Oct. 23-Nov. 3 production of Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado" to tour schools. Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus auditions for boys and girls (grades K-12) to participate in the training. performance and touring opportunities in their choral ensembles, Saturday, UH-Manoa Music Department. Audition fees of $5 for grades K-2 and $25 for grades 3-12 will be applied to the semester tuition of $130 for K-2 and $250 for grades 3-12 once accepted into the chorus. Tokyo Disney Resort auditions for female Polynesian dancers, 18 and older, for a 12-month contract to begin in early 2007, with pay, travel and living expenses included.
