Surf expected to start rising tomorrow

Advertiser Staff

The National Weather Service forecast for today calls for surf of 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores; 2 to 4 feet along eastern shores; 1 to 3 feet along western shores; and 2 feet or less along north facing shores.

The good news for surfers is that a significant new south swell is on the way, should arrive tomorrow and is expected to build to the advisory level of 8 feet along south-facing shores tomorrow or Wednesday.
