Police Beat: Woman sexually assaulted by house guest

A 25-year-old man was arrested early yesterday morning after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 19-year-old Mililani woman.

The woman told police she agreed to let the man stay overnight at her home after he told her he had no way to get back to his home. She said she woke up yesterday morning to find her overnight guest assaulting her.

Police were called and later arrested the man near Schofield Barracks.

Man driving stolen car arrested, drugs found

Police arrested a 32-year-old man in La'ie yesterday afternoon after determining he was driving a car that had been reported stolen.

Police said the driver was ordered to pull over for traffic infractions, at which point officers discovered the car belonged to a 33-year-old man who reported it stolen.

The driver was arrested about 3:35 p.m. on suspicion of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, first-degree promotion of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest took place front 55-370 Kamehameha Highway in a area very close to where four teens were killed in two separate traffic accidents over the weekend.

Siblings' squabble lands girl in hospital

A 14-year-old Kalihi boy was arrested yesterday afternoon after he allegedly knocked his 17-year-old sister unconscious during a sibling squabble.

Police were told the two were arguing about 3:15 p.m. when the boy punched and kicked his sister several times causing to have convulsions and black out.

The girl was taken to The Queen's Medical Center and was reported to be in stable condition upon her arrival there.
