Surf could hit seven feet along east shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf is expected to increase today along several of Ošahušs shorelines, according to the National Weather Service.

Today's outlook calls for wave faces of 3 to 5 feet along south-facing shores, 4 to 7 feet along east-facing shores, 3 to 4 feet along west-facing shores and 2 feet or less along northern shores.

A slightly larger south swell is expected Thursday. The surf, however, will be below the advisory level of 8 feet for southern shores.
