Areas of H-1, H-3 under repair

Construction projects will slow commutes on several O'ahu roads today and through the remainder of the work week. With school back in session, allow yourself a bit more time to get to your destination.

H-3 Kane'ohe-bound closures set

Lanes will be closed in the Kane'ohe-bound direction along the H-3 Freeway between the Halekou Interchange and H-3 tunnels through Friday between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. for pavement repair.

H-1 lanes to close for guardrail repairs

Lanes will be closed in both directions along the H-1 Freeway between Middle Street and the Kinau Street off-ramp (Exit 22) through Friday between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. for median guardrail repairs.

South King St. traffic to slow for repairs

Routine maintenance by Hawaiian Electric Company this week will slow traffic along South King Street from Punahou to McCully through Friday from 8:30 to 2:30 p.m.Today, two lanes will be closed along the mauka side of South King Street from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. One lane will be repoened thereafter and limited parking will be available. Tomorrow and Friday, one lane will be closed on the makai side of South King Street and limited parking will be available after the work is completed.

Nightly Nimitz Highway work scheduled

There will be a complete closure in the Honolulu-bound direction of Nimitz Highway at the Kalihi Stream Bridge through Friday morning between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. for bridge repair. Traffic off the H-1 Freeway Airport Viaduct east-bound will be diverted to the Middle Street/Dillingham Boulevard Exit (Exit 18B). Traffic along Nimitz Highway under the H-1 Freeway Airport Viaduct will also be diverted to Dillingham Boulevard. A special-duty officer will direct traffic. All west-bound lanes along Nimitz Highway will remain open.     

'Aiea Access Road lane closing daily

The right south-bound lane of the 'Aiea Access Road Bridge over the Moanalua Freeway will be closed through Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for light pole installation work.

Work scheduled near Camp Smith

Lanes will be closed along Halawa Heights Road near Camp Smith through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for roadwork. Lanes will be closed along Halawa Heights Road between Ulune Street and Fernridge Place, in the vicinity of Camp Smith, through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pavement marking and sign installation.

Daytime closures on Mokapu Saddle Road

Lanes will be closed along Mokapu Saddle Road/Mokapu Boulevard between Kane'ohe Bay Drive and North Kalaheo Avenue through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for pavement repairs.

Sand Island Access Road night closures

Lanes will be closed along Sand Island Access Road between the bridge and Sand Island State Park through Friday, between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m., for pavement repairs.
