Services slated for teen killed in Hau'ula car wreck

Services will be held Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — La'ie First Ward — for Summer-Lynn Kawehionalani Teuila Mau, 19, who was killed in the second of two deadly car wrecks at the same spot in Hau'ula on Aug. 19.

Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a service between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. at La'ie Cemetery. Casual attire.

Mau was born in Honolulu and lived in Kahuku and was a hostess at the Ambassador Restaurant at the Polynesian Cultural Center.

She is survived by her parents, Ross and Shelly; brothers Kaimana "Mana," Tau'anu'u "Nu'u;" sisters Amber and Brittany; grandparents Fia Sataraka, Papu Manu, William and Laverne Beatty; great-grandparents Tau Moeai, Mary "E" Beatty, Patrick and Peggy Mau and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
