It's the end-of-season sale at the atelier of Fighting Eel, and most items will be marked down to $30 or less.

It coincides with First Friday, 5:30 to 8 p.m. tomorrow and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 47 North Hotel St. in Chinatown.

SANSEI HAWAII CLOSING SALE

After 25 years, Sansei Hawaii is closing its doors. While owner Julie Chiya's looking to sell her business, she hopes to liquidate her stock of 100 percent cotton China T-shirts that she dyes and silkscreens.

Her current stock includes 50 designs in 12 colors, in both China T-shirts and "beat the heat" tank tops. She's selling them at rock-bottom prices, $1 to $10. Call 487-6422 for an appointment.

WINGS JOINS MIX AT VALERIE JOSEPH BOUTIQUE

Maui designer Samantha Howard recently launched her clothing and jewelry line, Wings Hawaii, at the Valerie Joseph boutique in McCully Shopping Center.

Howard calls her line "Island-inspired, beachy and comfortable and easy to wear." She screen-prints surfer girls, mermaids and honu (sea turtles) onto tank tops, hoodies, shorts and yoga pants. Her best-selling earrings are made of coconut and puka shells.

NEW LINGERIE LINE FOR FULL-FIGURED WOMEN

Full-figured women often have to settle for ugly or unembellished lingerie while others enjoy lace, ribbons and pretty details. No longer. Morgan Beret Fine Lingerie in Kahala Mall has just introduced Fayreform, a company with a 70-year heritage of creating stylish and supportive undergarments for women.

With cup sizes from C to J, this line will fit many women who previously may have had to shop on the Mainland or by catalog. Prices for foundation undergarments range from $16 to $62.

CALLING ALL SHOE DIVAS

Macy's at Ala Moana Center invites all shoe divas to show off their sexiest shoes by entering the store's Sexy Shoe Contest. The winner will receive a pair of designer shoes of her choice with a retail value of up to $200. Second and third place winners will receive prizes valued at $100 and $50, respectively.

The event, which includes cocktails and pupu, is free, but reservations are required to attend and enter the contest. Information and RSVP: 945-6427.

SEPTEMBER SKIN CARE LAUNCHES

September is always the biggest month for fashion. Vogue publishes an 800-page issue, designers think ahead to spring as retailers gear up for fall. Now September seems to be the chosen month for launching new skin-care products.

Tomorrow marks the launch of Peau Magnifique, the latest innovation from Revive, a high- tech product line created by a plastic surgeon. The key ingredient is Telomerase, which plastic surgeon Bernard Bays says activates dormant adult stem cells and repairs DNA fragmentation. It comes at a cost, however: $1,500 for four vials, which last six months. At least five Honolulu women are already on the waiting list at Neiman Marcus.

Chanel introduces Sublimage Essential Regenerating Cream containing Planifolia-PFA, an active ingredient derived from the juice of the planifolia plant of Madagascar. Available this month at Chanel boutiques and counters for $350 per 1.7 ounces.
