There's still time to get UH-Alabama pay-per-view

 •  Warriors work out in Atlanta

Advertiser Staff

If you're a basic cable subscriber without a digital cable box and want to order the University of Hawai'i-Alabama football game on pay-per-view, you're probably not too late.

The game in Tuscaloosa is 1 p.m. Saturday and will be televised on pay TV. Getting a digital box installed by Oceanic takes about a week. But if you're an Oceanic subscriber, you can pick up a digital box, although you'll have to install it yourself.

If you already have Oceanic digital cable and would like to watch the game, the ordering instructions are on channel 254.

The cost is $60 for viewers on O'ahu and $30 for those on the Neighbor Islands.

If you want to pick up a digital box, you can visit the Oceanic offices in Mililani, Sears Ala Moana (ground floor), Hickam Air Force Base (Hickam Exchange, Building 1232), Windward City Shopping Center and Koko Marina Shopping Center. For customer service, call 643-2337.

UH football season ticket holders, who haven't purchased the UH sports pay-per-view package, will be able to view the game free, but need to pick up a digital cable box.

The cost is $7.20, but they must be returned after one month.

Of course, you can avoid all this by visiting a sports bar that is showing the game.
