EMS officials tonight said a teenage boy injured in a catamaran accident off Waikiki has been pronounced dead at The Queen's Medical Center.

He was taken there after a mast on the Na Hoku II catamaran collapsed, crushing him.

Two other passengers, both women, were injured.

Witnesses said the catamaran cruise began at 3:30 p.m. and the accident occurred at about 5 p.m.
